Behind the scenes at Hali
At Hali, we firmly believe that the true essence of any company lies within its people. Join us on our meet the team series and embark on a journey of discovery as we introduce you to the extraordinary individuals who make Hali the fantastic company it is today.
First up in our meet the team series is Niamh, the creative mind of Hali. Starting her career in the realm of publishing, she honed her skills in crafting visually captivating layouts and designs for print media. Through her work, she developed a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of typography, and a knack for creating compelling visual narratives. With her extensive experience, creative vision and dedication, Niamh is a driving force behind the visual identity of Hali. Her contributions not only elevate our brand but also create meaningful connections with our audience through thoughtful and engaging design.
What excites you about working with Hali?
I joined the Hali team when it was only made up of 7 people. To see such a talented team grow and flourish, as the buildings materialised before our eyes, has been an incredible experience. On a personal level, the journey to shape the brand and bring it to market has given me opportunities like never before and the responsibility of being the only designer gives a unique sense of ownership and pride in the work that I create. It really makes every day, and every new project exciting.

What are you looking forward to?
As Cherrywood grows and we welcome more residents, the community goes from strength to strength. Using design to bring people together is a powerful approach and I look forward to discovering new ways to engage our community. Design has the ability to shape environments and experiences in a way that encourages meaningful interactions, sparks conversations, and cultivates a sense of shared identity among residents and our own team.
We have just published our fifth issue of Hali Connect which is one of my proudest achievements, and at the beginning of this year launched our lifestyle website Hali Living. By facilitating connections and encouraging engagement through these platforms we can help residents build relationships with one another, create a sense of belonging, and foster a vibrant community spirit. As our community grows, so will I in my role.
What sets you apart from other designers?
I have a sharp eye for detail which can be both a blessing and a challenge. On the positive side, it allows me to excel in my work by ensuring that everything is meticulously crafted and perfected. On the more challenging side, it recently took me eight months to choose an engagement ring!
This level of consideration encourages me to always drive for self-improvement and discover new skills in the ever-evolving landscape of design. Recently I completed an intensive course in Adobe Photoshop to master new tools in the ever-evolving programme, and later this year I look forward to studying motion graphics. By continuously honing my skills, expanding my knowledge, and seeking new opportunities for growth, I hope to push the boundaries for myself and Hali.

Fun facts!
- I make a great banoffee.
- I’m a pescatarian, or as I like to say – a lazy vegetarian.
- I spent six months travelling through Southeast Asia a few years ago and loved every minute of it!
