Peel was founded in 2018 by brothers Kyle and Ross, who combined their passion for rugby, coffee and beer with their love of the planet to create a company that could truly make a difference. And they have! They strive to educate their customers about the threat of global warming, and how we can combat the damage. The single biggest way any individual can reduce their impact (carbon footprint) is by adopting a plant based diet. They stress that the whole world does not need to go vegan! They do however believe that eating less meat can have a hugely positive impact on the environment, it’s better for animals and it’s amazing for your own health.
In addition to their educational work, with each order Peel plants a tree on the behalf of their customers. Each tree will remove 262kg of carbon from the atmosphere over its lifetime. You can even keep count of the number of trees that have been planted on your behalf on your subscription.

The sparks flew when Peel were invited to meet the Hali team in Cherrywood. As companies that have shared values and principles, we decided to partner to bring delicious, healthy meals to more people. Something special was en route for the wonderful Hali community.
Peel hosted an exclusive cooking demonstration in the Hali Club House last month, featuring their most popular dish the ‘Peehal Curry,’ which attendees got to sample first-hand.
Onwards and upwards
For anyone who missed out, Peel promise to be back soon to share their values and principles and give more helpful cooking tips. During the demo, the team distributed menu cards, allowing the crowd to follow along, while we hosted a lively Q&A session.
